J&J Investment Properties is the premier off-campus student housing provider for the students of the University of Albany and the College of Saint Rose. Founded in 2010 with the initial acquisition of a multi-family property adjacent to the University of Albany, the business has since grown to operate a portfolio of over 32 properties in Albany, NY – with a primary focus on providing upscale and affordable student housing.
We provide off-campus student housing at lower rates than those on-campus dorm rooms!
This means more money left over for tuition, textbooks, school supplies, studying abroad, and other educational expenses. Sounds good, huh? Aside from being more affordable, our apartments have been recently renovated, are larger / more open, provide students with more independence than living in a crammed dorm room, and don't come with an expensive meal plan (yuck)! We have a vast array of payment plans to accommodate all financial situations, so paying for housing will be easy. After all – that’s the way it should be!

We use Buildium, an online property management software, that enables us to effectively manage our buildings. You can download the Resident Center application on your phone to pay your rent, submit work order requests, view your lease, and communicate with us in real-time. Buildium allows us to expedite maintenance requests, collect your rent online and keep track of everything imaginable!
